AIRJET

High-speed submersible turbine for the oxygenation and mixing of municipal or industrial wastewater.

Vue 3D de l'AirJet Biotrade, turbine immergée auto-aspirante pour l'oxygénation et le mélange des eaux usées urbaines et industrielles

The AirJet is a self-aspirating submersible turbine, designed and manufactured by BIOTRADE to oxygenate and mix wastewater.

Thanks to its motor and integrated air intake system, it ensures optimal oxygen diffusion and homogeneous mixing of effluents, without requiring an external blower.

BIOTRADE offers a single AirJet turbine model, available in several power ratings to meet different requirements:

  • Power: from 2.2 kW to 22 kW.

The AirJet consists of the following components:

  • Motor: IP68, with temperature and leakage sensors, depending on the model.
  • Body and propeller: 304L or 316L stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance.
  • Feet: stainless steel, ensuring optimal stability at the bottom of the basin.
  • Air intake tube: stainless steel, for efficient air suction.
  • Lifting cable: custom-made, for easy installation and maintenance.

  • Adaptability: wide power range from 2.2 to 22 kW, suitable for all types of basins.
  • Air intake tube: stainless steel, with threaded end connection, DN65 for 2.2–7.5 kW and DN100 for 11–22 kW.
  • Foot extensions: custom-welded to adjust the immersion height.
  • Protection plate: stainless steel, designed to protect membranes and components.
  • Silencer: stainless steel, DN65 for 2.2–7.5 kW and DN100 for 11–22 kW, to reduce noise emissions.

How does the AirJet work?

The AirJet draws in ambient air through its self-aspirating system and diffuses it into the water via a high-speed propeller. It therefore provides both oxygenation and mixing.

Can the AirJet be installed in an existing basin?

Yes, the AirJet can be installed directly at the bottom of the basin without major modifications, thanks to its stainless steel feet and lifting cable.

What are the manufacturing lead times?

The manufacturing lead time is 8 weeks from order approval.
