Longopac bags, filter bags and Longofill supports are used to collect screenings waste from municipal or industrial wastewater pre-treatment equipment.

Bags for screenings waste are generally installed at the outlet of a screen, sieve or compacting system in order to facilitate the collection, storage and removal of screenings waste.

BIOTRADE supplies different types of bags adapted to site configurations: transparent Longopac bags, reinforced bags, perforated bags, Longopac XL bags and filter bags. Associated supports are also available, such as the Longofill automatic bagging unit or the rubber locking ring.

What is the difference between a Longopac bag and a filter bag?

The Longopac bag is a continuous bag fitted onto a support, ideal for continuous bagging of screenings without manual intervention. The filter bag is a single-use bag, available in 60 or 80 cm diameter and 1 m length, allowing screenings to drain before removal.

How is a Longopac bag fixed in place?

The Longopac bag can be fixed using a Longofill automatic bagging unit or a rubber locking ring for simpler installations.

Are the bags compatible with all BIOTRADE screens?

Yes, Longopac bags and Longofill supports are compatible with BIOTRADE screens and conveying / compacting screws equipped with the automatic bagging option.
