Internally Fed Rotary Drum Screen

Equipment for fine pre-treatment of municipal or industrial wastewater.

Tamis rotatif interne BioScreen TRI Biotrade avec motorisation et raccordements hydrauliques

The BioScreen TRI is an internally fed rotary drum screen designed for the fine pre-treatment of municipal or industrial wastewater.

It is suitable for effluents containing suspended solids, sand and fibrous matter. The effluent enters inside the filtering drum and then passes through the filtration mesh. The retained waste is then discharged at the end of the screen.

Easy to operate, the BioScreen TRI helps protect downstream treatment stages by reducing the solid waste load present in the effluent.

BIOTRADE supplies different types of internally fed rotary drum screens depending on the inlet flow rate, the nature of the effluent and the required mesh size.

The BioScreen TRI is manufactured in compliance with CE standards and can be integrated into new or existing installations.

  • Frame: 304L or 316L stainless steel structure.
  • Filtering drum: 304L or 316L stainless steel drum, suitable for screening loaded effluents.
  • Gear motor: drum drive using a wheel / ring gear assembly.
  • Front inspection hatch: used to check the filtered waste outlet.
  • Side hatches: 2 to 4 hatches allowing inspection and maintenance of the washing system.
  • Internally fed rotary drum screen.
  • Suitable for effluents containing suspended solids, sand and fibrous matter.
  • Screening from 1 to 30 mm depending on project requirements.
  • Accepted flow rates up to 600 m³/h.
  • Frame and drum in 304L or 316L stainless steel.
  • Can be installed on new or existing structures.
  • Maintenance facilitated by front and side inspection hatches.

The BioScreen TRI range provides screening from 1 to 30 mm, with accepted flow rates of up to 600 m³/h. It is adapted to the fine pre-treatment requirements of municipal and industrial wastewater.

What screening size is available?

Screening is available from 1 mm to 30 mm, depending on the type of effluent and the required filtration level.

What is the maximum accepted flow rate?

The maximum flow rate can reach 600 m³/h, depending on the model and mesh size.

Which effluents is the TRI suitable for?

The BioScreen TRI TROMEL type is suitable for municipal and industrial effluents containing suspended solids, sand and fibrous matter. Its design makes it particularly resistant to difficult effluents.

How is the washing system accessed for maintenance?

A front inspection hatch allows the filtered waste outlet to be checked. Two to four side hatches provide direct access to the washing system.
