🚀 A New BIOTRADE Project Has Just Been Completed in Eyragues !

We are proud to present a major project carried out for the Terre de Provence Water Authority at the Eyragues wastewater treatment plant.

The objective was to create a complete, modern, and automated sludge treatment facility, from pretreatment through to sludge dewatering, while integrating all the equipment required for operational safety, ease of operation, and remote monitoring and control.

⚙️ At the heart of the installation is the BIOPRESS 302, entirely designed and manufactured in our workshop in Toulouse.

Our BIOPRESS 302, mounted on its welded steel frame, is combined with a dynamic flocculation tank, enabling sludge conditioning and concentration prior to the dewatering process.

But the installation goes far beyond the screw press itself :

🔹 Pretreatment stage upgraded through the replacement of the inlet screen with our curved bar screen, ensuring efficient removal of coarse solids at the entrance of the wastewater treatment plante

🔹 Sludge Thickening and Clarified Water Management within the Storage Silo

🔹Instrumentation and automation to ensure optimized plant management

🔹 Complete electrical control panel and dual HMI system to facilitate operation

🔹 Integrated video surveillance system connected to the SCADA platform, with remote access capability

🔹 H₂S detection integrated into the supervision system, including detector and external alarm siren

🔹 Air extraction, heating, and air conditioning of the building

🔹 Articulated pipework for the progressive cavity pump, ensuring sludge transfer and discharge

💧 With this project, BIOTRADE demonstrates its ability to deliver complete water and wastewater treatment solutions, covering the entire process chain from pretreatment to sludge dewatering, while integrating electrical systems, automation, SCADA supervision, and safety equipment.

This installation therefore stands as a true showcase of BIOTRADE’s expertise, bringing together several of our technologies within a single project.
