High-Speed Turbine

Floating surface aerator for aeration basins and lagoons, combining oxygenation and movement of effluents.

The high-speed surface turbine ensures effluent oxygenation by drawing the liquid from the basin and projecting it into the air. The effluent is drawn in by the turbine propeller through the nozzle, then discharged into the air via the ejection cone.

When in contact with air, the projected effluent becomes enriched with oxygen. This mechanical action, which brings the effluent into contact with ambient air, also provides significant mixing within the biological basin.

Mounted on floats, the turbine is simply placed on the water surface, making installation easier and allowing it to adapt to water level variations.

It is suitable for civil engineering basins as well as lagoons, including applications with fluctuating water levels or shallow depths.

BIOTRADE offers a range of high-speed surface turbines suitable for civil engineering basins, lagoons and industrial installations.

When should a high-speed turbine be used?

A high-speed turbine is suitable for aeration basins or lagoons requiring both oxygenation and mixing, in wastewater treatment plants as well as industrial applications.

What are the manufacturing lead times?

Manufacturing lead times are 6 to 8 weeks after order approval.

How is the turbine secured?

The turbine is held in place by a three-point mooring system, including 50 metres of polypropylene rope, 6 shackles, 6 thimbles and 12 cable clamps. The system can be adjusted according to the basin configuration.
