Presentation
The BIOTRADE suction-type clarifier is designed for the clarification of municipal or industrial wastewater. The system features a peripheral-drive radial bridge pivoting around a central column, with a low-profile, semi-submerged beam serving as the sludge collection trough.
Manufactured in BIOTRADE’s workshops, this clarifier is adaptable to basins of any size or configuration.
Models
BIOTRADE markets suction-type clarifiers for clarification tanks of all diameters, with configurations tailored to specific customer needs: radial, radial +1/3, and diametral.
Technical Specifications
BIOTRADE scraper clarifiers consist of the following components:
- Bridge: Aluminum, galvanized steel, painted steel, 304L/316L stainless steel, or duplex steel (customer’s choice). Its lightweight design reduces energy consumption while ensuring optimal robustness.
- Geared motor: IE3 for energy efficiency.
- Vulkollan wheel: Offers a longer service life than polyurethane.
- Submerged stainless steel structure: Designed for long-term durability and efficient floor scraping.
- “Ski-jump” hopper: Adapts to all types of civil engineering designs; engineered to minimize snagging and ensure equipment longevity.
- Flow rate adjustment system: Located at the suction pipes.
- Sludge collection trough: Stainless steel, equipped with sludge inlet control valves.
- Electrical connection or control cabinet (depending on requirements).
- Trough cleaning system: Static brushes.
- Vacuum pump and siphon: For self-priming the sludge siphoning process.
- Suction pipes: Centered between W-shaped blades.
- Electrical collector: Number of rings determined by selected options.
- Clifford or diffusion skirt: For uniform effluent distribution.
- Surface scraper: To direct floating matter toward the hopper.
- Central pivot: With 304L stainless steel base plate (316L on request) and slewing ring.
- Weir and siphon blades: 304L stainless steel (316L on request) for optimal clarified water discharge.
- Stone guard / anti-obstacle system: To protect the equipment in the event of a blockage.
