The AeroDyn grease removal turbine is a submerged, self-aspirating solution designed to provide efficient mixing and promote the separation of grease, oils and suspended solids in treatment basins.

Developed and manufactured in France by BIOTRADE, it diffuses micro-bubbles of air into the effluent. These bubbles help grease rise to the surface and contribute to improved treatment of municipal or industrial wastewater.

Its self-aspirating system operates without an external blower, reducing peripheral equipment and operating costs. Its robust, anti-clogging design is suitable for demanding environments such as wastewater treatment plants, slaughterhouses, leachate treatment facilities and agri-food sites.

The AeroDyn is installed directly in the basin. Its motor drives a high-speed turbine that draws in air through an intake tube, then diffuses it as micro-bubbles.

The AeroDyn turbine is composed of several main elements:

  • Motor: IE3 motor suitable for wastewater treatment applications.
  • Body and turbine: manufactured in 304L or 316L stainless steel for high corrosion resistance.
  • Shaft: stainless steel shaft.
  • Lifting system: stainless steel chain lifting system to facilitate maintenance operations.
  • Electrical cable: standard 10 m cable, extendable on request.
  • Safety: anti-pull-out system to protect the electrical cable.
  • Submerged and self-aspirating operation.
  • Micro-bubble diffusion promoting the rise of grease to the surface.
  • Compact and anti-clogging design.
  • Available in 304L or 316L stainless steel depending on the operating environment.
