Presentation

The BioScreen VCL is a washer compactor screw designed for the conveying, washing and compacting of screenings from municipal or industrial wastewater.

The screenings are conveyed by the screw to a washing screen basket, where part of the organic matter is removed. They are then directed to a compacting zone in order to reduce their volume and facilitate disposal.

This equipment improves screenings waste management by combining several functions within a single system: conveying, washing, draining and compacting.

What is the washing system used for?

The nozzle-based washing system removes organic matter attached to the screenings. This step reduces the volume of waste, limits odour nuisance and facilitates disposal.
