Sludge Dewatering Unit

Self-contained mobile equipment for the dewatering of municipal and industrial sludge, designed and assembled in our workshops.

Unité mobile de déshydratation des boues BIOTRADE en conteneur pour le traitement des boues urbaines et industrielles.

The BIOTRADE mobile sludge dewatering unit is designed, manufactured and assembled in BIOTRADE workshops.

This self-contained unit performs several stages of sludge treatment: raw sludge pumping, flocculation, dewatering using a BioPress screw press, and discharge of dewatered sludge by conveyor or force-feed pump.

It is suitable for municipal or industrial sludge with concentrations from 6 to 50 g/L. Its mobile design allows operation on different sites, as a temporary, occasional or complementary solution to an existing installation.

The entire unit is controlled by a control panel with PLC and HMI. This system optimises operating parameters such as raw sludge withdrawal flow rate, polymer dosage, residence time in the screw press and washing cycles.

Mobile sludge dewatering units can be supplied in several configurations depending on transport, operating and site installation constraints.

  • Open-side container: robust mobile solution providing easy access to the equipment.
  • 3.5 t road trailer: compact and transportable configuration.
  • HGV trailer: version adapted to higher-capacity requirements.
  • Mobile body: modular solution according to project constraints.
  • Raw sludge inlet pump: feeds the unit with sludge to be treated.
  • Flocculation tank: mixes the sludge with the prepared polymer solution.
  • BioPress screw press: provides mechanical sludge dewatering.
  • Polymer preparation unit: prepares the polymer solution required for flocculation.
  • Conveyor or force-feed pump: discharges the dewatered sludge.
  • Control panel: PLC and HMI for controlling the entire unit.
  • Self-contained mobile unit for sludge dewatering.
  • Suitable for municipal or industrial sludge.
  • Sludge pumping from 6 to 50 g/L.
  • Dewatering by BioPress screw press.
  • Integrated polymer preparation.
  • Dewatered sludge discharge by conveyor or force-feed pump.
  • Controlled by a control panel with PLC and HMI.
  • Installation possible in an open-side container, 3.5 t trailer, HGV trailer or mobile body.

BIOTRADE mobile units are configured according to project requirements, sludge concentration, the desired transport method and site operating constraints.
