BIOTRADE markets different models of slow turbines designed and manufactured in France.
- Model with fiberglass-reinforced polyester rotor fixed on the gangway.
- Model with fiberglass-reinforced polyester on floats.
- Model with painted steel rotor fixed on the gangway.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Slow turbines are composed of different elements:
- Geared motor
- Painted steel coupling sleeve
- Painted steel shaft
- Rotor - Designed for optimal mixing
Depending on the configuration template:
- On gangway: The turbine rests on a base plate which is held by threaded rods to adjust the depth of immersion.
- On floats: The turbine floats via three painted steel floats.
The fiberglass-reinforced polyester rotor has a lower density than the water. This characteristic makes it easier to install and maintain in a full tank.
