The BioScreen VES Sand Classifier allows the separation of sand, gravel and sediment particles from the degritter and degreaser.
The BioScreen VES classifier is used for the treatment of urban or industrial wastewater. It extracts 90% of sediments with a diameter greater than 0.2 / 0.3 mm, with a minimum organic matter content of 10%.

BIOTRADE manufactures different types of Sand Classifier depending on the input flow. Our Classifier model, manufactured according to CE standards, is designed for new or existing installation.

Sand Classifiers are composed of different elements:
- Body (304L or 316L)
- The Archimedes screw without core is made of high mechanical strength steel
- HB-400 steel anti-abrasion wear part
- Inlet and outlet pipe on rotating flanges
- Inspection hatches allowing to visualize the exit chute
