Circular Grit and Grease Separator

Circular grit and grease separator for industrial or municipal wastewater.

Dégraisseur-dessableur circulaire BIOTRADE pour le traitement des eaux industrielles ou urbaines.

Le déThe BIOTRADE circular grit and grease separator is designed for the treatment of wastewater, whether municipal or industrial, and can be adapted to any cylindrical-conical basin.

This system is often combined with a submerged grease removal turbine, AERODYN type, installed in the hopper, providing:

  • A rotating flow to facilitate sand discharge towards the hopper.
  • A turbulence zone promoting the separation of grease and agglomerated matter.
  • Atmospheric air suction released as fine bubbles, helping grease rise to the surface.

The water is introduced tangentially into a central cylindrical deflector, then discharged through a submerged opening in the cylindrical wall.

BIOTRADE supplies circular grit and grease separators for all volumes, adapted to all types of basins.

BIOTRADE circular grit and grease separators are composed of the following elements:

  • Two diametrically opposed scraping arms for collecting floating matter.
  • Ski-jump hopper designed to minimise snagging and ensure long equipment service life.
  • Custom-made Clifford according to project requirements.
  • Connection box.
